Hi

I currently have an HDTV which is marketed with 1366x768 Resolution (1080i Ready) although when connected to my PC (windows 10) its showing its capable of 1920x1080. I have set the resolution to the actual physical resolution of 1366x768 but it does not look good but on 1920x1080 its clearer.

Is my TV downscaling it to its physical resolution of 1366x768 so im still just seeing HD vs the signal its giving of 1080p. Since I would like to play on 1080p and I just wanted to make sure what I am seeing is truly 1080p.

PS: Currently I have set the HDTV to just scan by the way. and my GPU is an old HD 5670 but will upgrade soon.

I'm not sure I understand your question... But if its running fine at 1080 and looks better, use that resolution... If your GPU can't handle the extra pixels you might have to live with the lower quality native resolution.

What your seeing is a picture rendered at 1080p then down sampled to 1366 x 768. I have my TV(1366 x 768) at 1080, its not true 1080p/i because it physically does not have 1080 x 1920 pixels...

Is it possible to set it to its Native Physical Resolution and still look good, since right now the best resolution to use is 1080p for best clarity but setting it lower will result in a real blurry screen since my current GPU cannot handle it when playing. Just for the mean time while I still don't have a proper monitor/GPU.
