HDTV displaying nothing when connected to GPU.

Hello, when I connect my CPU to my HDTV it displays nothing on the screen. I am connecting them with a HDMI cable.
I have a gt 630 2GB GPU and my HDTV is sony bravia r41b.
And also I have connected the cable in port 1 in my tv and set display on port 1 but still nothing is appearing .
Please help me.

no I have not connected any other monitor using my gpu hdmi port but i am using the vga port of my gpu to connect it to other monitor and it is working.
