heading on aircraft instrument to relative position

HI Guys

When i'am sitting in my aircraft on the ground or in the
air my aircraft heading on my instrument does not tally
up with where my relative position is on the earth,has
anyone encountered this problem and if so is there anyway
to rectify this problem.

an example is approaching runway 27,heading shows 013.

What are you talking about? Which instrument?

Are you sure it's heading and not course that you're looking at?

Try pressing "D" and see if that corrects it.
