Question Headless HDMI

Sorry if this is the wrong sub-forum.

I am trying to set up my tablet as a wireless third monitor using SplashTop. I have plugged a headless HDMI into my motherboard and tried to detect it through Windows settings and NVIDIA Control Panel but it doesn't detect a "third monitor". All help appreciated, thanks.
