Headmaster trouble

Hi all --

For the past couple of days, I've consistently had a bug with the
headmaster, in all the families I've tried inviting him over (3 families at
least, possibly 4).

He comes over, has a tour, gets schmoozed, eats dinner, sometimes even has
espresso, on the whole looks quite satisfied, but then, just as I start
rejoicing, he "jumps" and disappears (usually while getting up from
dinner). The "Headmaster tour scenario" window also disappears. No message
is received, the kids don't get into private school (even if the tour had
been quite successful, 100+ points). The next day I can call him again, he
says he'll come at 5, but doesn't show up. That's it for the kids' chances
of getting into private school, forever... (and possibly for anybody else
living on the same lot in future?)

Initially I thought this was because of the jumping bug -- some elderly
people who had or might have the bug were sitting at dinner and that might
have caused it. But this last time there was definitely no chance of any of
the people present having the bug. Yet he jumped off the chair and
vanished.

Anybody else had this problem? Above all, anybody has a solution? 🙂

Use SimPe 2 to delete some of the neighbourhood / family memories (only the
bad ones) that should correct the problem until the patch comes out. It
happens with familes who have longe histories. You came use SimPe 2 to
increase the number of days before your sim ages. I've set the age date to
100. It works without crashing the program.
