Headphone and mic doesn't work on the same time

I'm using realtek HD audio manager on windows 10 and when i plug in a basic apple headphones with a mic or a Tritton Gaming headphones then i can't use the mic at the same time. Like when i go on skype and go to call settings there is no mic selected and when i open up the box there are no mics to choose from. Plz help me

Hi,

Please do try these troubleshooting steps that may help in solving the issue.
- Start by uninstalling/reinstalling the sound card driver.
- Go to Device Manager and uninstall the Realtek Sound driver.
- Do also make sure that in Programs and Features there's no left traces of Realtek.
- Once done, download and install the latest Sound driver from the manufacturer of the PC.
- Reboot your PC once the latest driver has been installed then test it again.
- If your Tritton gaming headset uses USB cable to connect to your PC, do download and install the driver for it as well.

- Reboot your PC again once the driver has been installed and test it again.

Yeah i just found out that apple headphones and my mic is not compatibloe with PC's so i bought a Pc mic but thank you...
