The other posts didn't help much and didn't have my problem which I think is the problem. So a few days ago both sides of my headphones worked 100% on both sides. But today I have noticed that one side is 100% and the other is like 10% working. I tried the back connector and front connector still the same. I switched the headphones to the other ear, And no I am not deaf in one ear. I then tested on my phone and guess what. Yup you guessed it both sides even amount of sound. But it worked fine days before this. But I think it might be the recent Windows 10 update that just came out. I am not sure though. I also tested 2 different pairs and same results. I am confused. Also I have a Phanteks P400 Eclipse case and a MSI 970 Gaming AM3+ motherboard.

Solution
Have you made sure that Windows is outputting equal volume to both sides of your headphones? Go into the properties of your audio device, go to the volume section and click "Balance". Make sure they are the same. Could be something else but check this first. Definitely sounds like a software issue either way.
