Headphone/Mic extension cables

Hello,
My computer has a USB/Audio out/Mic jack on the top front of the case. Wires from headphones hang in the way of the DVD drive. I would like to find cables to plug into back case jacks to get wires out of the way. However, I need cables that will work like the jacks. Unplug them and the revert to speakers. Plug in and the cut out speakers.

The sound is on the MB. Nothing in the docs about it. No replies from MB company. So is there any other way to do this to get away from the top front jacks without having to unplug them from the back every time?
