Hello everyone, I would need to understand some things in buying a headset and microphone.
Use is multiplayer gaming for which the use of the microphone is required.
I already have a stereo headphone for listening to music and I had a clip-on microphone, connected to the sound card and placed by clip on the headphone cable, with a poor result in terms of quality and practicality being necessary to place them from time to time and having this cable in more a little uncomfortable.

The first question concerns the use of a better microphone but that optimizes its position and comfort and I saw the B-MODA Boompro:
1) use such a microphone, which connects on one side to the headphones and on the other through the two jacks to the sound card, alters the sound of good quality headphones or is it as if you were using the original headphone cable? (and so you only appreciate the convenience) (I ask because I do not know if it is a different cable or poor or interferences etc.)

A second option that I’m considering is to use only for gaming a headset with built-in microphone and I see several of the line "gaming". Hence the second question:
2) The headphones in question are divided between stereo and surround and I wondered if the surraund is simply the habitual use of hardware and software (a dac or sound card sold together with headphones and a software for configuration) or consists of other. I ask this because I use as a sound card a Sound BlasterX G6 that already has a good hardware/ software for the simulation of the surround and therefore I think it is better than the one used by the various headphones (or I’m wrong? )

Solution
Okay, I think the idea of using the B-MODA Boompro and taking a separate microphone abound. At this point, I would need some advice on headphones to use in the gaming and listening to music.
The headphones will be used in conjunction with a Sound BlasterX G6, connected via jack 3.5 (therefore without the USB connection if supplied, in how much for gaming if I want to use the surround effects these will be managed by the sound card)

Which are the best?
HyperX HX-HSCA-RD Cloud Alpha
Logitech G PRO
Logitech G635

Furthermore, are they to be evaluated compared to the Superlux HD-681 EVO,
or are these Superluxes to be preferred in both areas of use? (in the latter case I would combine a separate microphone for gaming)

The add in...
No using the boompro will not make the headphones sound worse.

Not sure what you mean about stereo and surround, the headphones are stereo, they have two speakers on each side of your head. Surround sound in those is done through the drivers and software. If you are talking about some headphones that have a surround sound USB adapter, then how good that sounds vs your Sound Blaster card would really depend on the exact hardware you are using and if you can tell the difference when swapping between them. Since you paid well over $100 for that SB G6 external sound card it would be a bit of a waste to buy some headset with a USB connection that bypasses that hardware.

The add in mic won't work with the Superlux since they have a male jack on them, you would need a gender changer.

For how they sound compared to the other 3, they would be more clear but if they sound "better" you would need to decide.
I would not get any of those for myself, I'd get the Cooler Master MH751, cleaner sound than the HyperX or Logitech sets, has a good mic on them. I have a set of Cloud Alphas and the MH751. Alphas have a bit more low end but they are move V shaped sound where the lows are emphasized over even clean sound across all ranges. The MH751s are a pretty neutral set, more suited for music unless you like hip hop or punchy rock with bass forward mixes.
