Specs:
Cpu: intel 6500
Gpu: asus stric gtx 970 4bg
Motherboard: asus z170 pro gaming
OS: windows 10 64 bit
Headphones: hyperX cloud II
Speakers: amazon basics dual speakers. Just some $10 speakers, surprisingly good for the price
Monitor: asus 24" 1080p via hdmi
Note: speakers plugged in via audio and usb 3.0 or 3.1. Cant remember. Headset via same usb type as speakers.
The other day I was playing overwatch then closed it fown to hop on battlefield 1. When trying to open origin, my computer spazzed out then reset itself. Once reset, my speakers and headset are recognized and have power, but dont play any sound. My pc womt use them. Windows is aware of the problem and defaulted to my monitor's built in speakers. Monitor is plugged into my gpu via hdmi. I checked all drivers for updates, reset my computer, made sure everything was plugged in, and checked to see that windows audio was running. I even tried the aduio and usb ports on the front of the case. Im out of ideas. Any advice is welcome. Thank you
