Question Headphones are extremely quiet when connected wirelessly to computer ?

Dec 20, 2020
Hello! I am having some issues with my headphones. When connected to my PC wirelessly, they are extremely quiet. The sound is not distorted at all, just quiet even when on maximum volume. I've tried this with a couple of pairs of headphones, and they all are very quiet when connected through Bluetooth to my PC, but as soon as I plug them into my front panel audio, they are back to playing audio at a normal volume level. Both pairs of headphones work fine and are at a good volume level when connected wirelessly to other devices. This issue started happening after I did quite a few things, which, unfortunately, I did all at once, so I don't know if one of them is causing the issue, and if so, which one. I did the following things:
  • Upgraded my motherboard BIOS to the latest stable version
  • Converted my boot drive and hard drive from MBR to GPT
  • Changed my BIOS from Legacy BIOS mode to UEFI
  • Enabled secure boot
  • Upgraded to Windows 11
Any idea what is happening, why, and what I can do to fix this? Thanks a lot in advance!
