Question Headphones crackle on PC, work fine on phone?

For starters, my headphones are the Razer Kraken Pro V2 Analog and my motherboard is the Gigabyte H110M-H. The thing is, on my PC, my headphones keep crackling at high volumes.

I've had Windows' Loudness Equalization turned on (without it there's barely any sound) and I'm also using PEACE APO with a preset for my headphones. No matter what I try, my headphones keep crackling at every other note. Music is especially horrible; it's just a <Mod Edit> of crackles.

Now, if I turn down my volume significantly, this problem disappears. The thing is, this problem doesn't happen on my phone. My phone can output extremely loud volume on this headset and there isn't a single crackle. In fact, I hear so many details that get completely drowned out on my PC because of the crackling.

I've had this issue ever since I've made this PC (got headphones when I made it), and now it's completely driving me mad because it's so noticeable. Please help.

Well since it is sound interference i would try reinstalling drivers for sound, might be also a problem within the MB or notebook itself(specifically sound card), if you have a friend :D you can try plugging it in their pc to see if it persists.

Or maybe your headphones just dont like your pc. its connected through usb or jack?

The problem turned out to be that my motherboard's audio chip wasn't powerful enough to power my headset. I got an amp and now everything's dandy.
