Headphones Debate please help

Hey gThanks About to buy a new pair of headphones and I need help deciding between the sennheiser hd 380 pros or the Shure SRH750s

It's hard to compare them because they are designed for completely different purposes. Arguable for sound quality you would go with the Sennheiser and for a DJ you would pick the Shure... What about Beyerdynamic DT660 or 880's, or Grado, or Audio Technica?

That's a pretty wide price difference too...

I own a pair of Audio Technica ATH M50s and they are in the same price backet as the ones you posted. Great sounding pair for the price and they're solidly built.

It really depends what you're looking for in your music taste. Check a forum called head fi for reviews on each headphone you are looking at. It will give you the sound signature and pros/cons for each headphone. If possible try to test them out at your local electronics retailer.
