Headphones for Gaming

I'm looking for headphones that perform well with video games for under $180 hopefully that are lightweight and don't necessarily need a microphone. Currently I have turtle beach x11s but they are kind of heavy and sound projects throughout the room and the mic isn't the best. I wouldn't be opposed to using a desktop mic with other headphones but i don't know the best stuff to get.
