Headphones make a buzz when I plug them into the back of the computer

I recently bought the Audio Technica ATH-M50 headphones and they were fine and today when I plugged them into the back of my computer it makes a buzzing noise when I move my mouse around and buzzing gets louder when I start up a game. There seems to be no buzzing when I plug the headphones into my iphone 4s. Is there something wrong with my motherboard (GA-78LMT-USB3) all updated drivers. I just want to know how I can sort this out and where the problem is coming from, any help will be much appreciated

PC SPEC (PC was bought about 8 years ago and some components have been upgraded)

CPU: 965 black edition
GPU: HD 6770
Mobo: GA-78LMT-USB3
PSU: 350w PSU that came with the PC 8 years ago
HDD: 250GB one that came with the PC 8 years ago
RAM: 4GB Corsair XMS3 1333MHz
CPU cooler: Stock AMD

So your running all that on a 8 year old PSU and a 350w at that so even when new it will have been at capacity under full load I also bet it is not from a main brand so will be of low quality

I'd start by replacing it as it may very well not be providing the correct voltage and be getting close to failing

Ensure that headphone's Jack and wire are pretty fine. Mine does the same replacing wire solved the problem

Yes, you need a better PSU regardless of your current problem. Look at the EVGA 500W or 500B or the Rosewill Capstone 450w or xfx 450w (these two are better but sometimes quite a bit more expensive). I expect the leaf blower noise is coming from the psu fan. Is your PC full of dust? If so buy a can of compressed air and shoo the dust out. Don't use a vacuum or brush.

As for the buzzing sound, try putting your mouse and keyboard in different USB ports, you have some sort of interference probably. Are you plugging them into the motherboard or a separate sound card?

Guys, I figured it out (I think) I had my PS3 going into line in and when I unplugged it, line was not muted so I think that was the problem, I plugged it back in and muted it, it seems the buzzing is gone. As for PSU, I did buy a new one but it broke so I'm on my old one for now. Will definitely be buying a new one, any recommendations? (from UK)
