Headphones not being recognized (Not detecting green audio jack)

I recently got a HyperX alpha headset and its been working great until now. I have it connected to my audio jack and the other day it stopped working. it works on other devices but with some research, Windows 10 isn't recognizing any of my audio devices that are plugged into the jacks. I tried looking up solution such as drivers and even factoring resetting my PC. no luck. I think this happened after some windows update. Please help. I really wanna hear from my headset again. Thank you

Go to the search bar near the start logo, type in ‘sound’, select your headset, press ‘disable’ and unplug it, plug it back in an click ‘enable’.
