[SOLVED] Headphones not detected after unplugging and plugging them back in

Windows updated just a few months ago and it started causing this issue where my headphones are not detected after unplugging them and plugging back in. I've tried reinstalling the realtek drivers and all of that and it works after 1 restart, but the second I restart my computer again it goes back to not detecting my headphones after I unplug them the first time. It only works when I restart the computer with the headphones already plugged in, and once they're unplugged, it's gameover for me.

what are specs of the PC? DO you have newest BIOS/Chipset drivers for motherboard?

have you tried turning fast startup off and seeing if it makes any difference for the restarts - https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/4189-turn-off-fast-startup-windows-10-a.html
