headphones not working

i recently upgraded my motherboard and cpu and have windows 10 installed and everything was working fine
but my headphones are not working suddenly. i have the drivers installed and my pc detects that the audio and mic jack is connected but no sound is coming through, i have checked on my phone and the headphones are fine but my pc just doesnt accept it suddenly.
i have also troubleshooted the headphones with no result
please help.

what kind of headphones, plug or usb?

audio jack and mic jack with usb for light.
my brain decided maye i should intall the audio drivers firdt.

after installing a new motherboard my headset is no longer working
i have connected it to my phone and it works perfectly fine
my mother board drivers are installed
the name of the headset is the kation each g2000
