Headphones only playing left channel sound on both headphones

I am currently using a Platronics RIG 400 gaming headset, 3.5mm audio jack that is managed by Realtek HD Audio Manager, and it just sounds absolutely terrible. It does not split the left and right sounds to the corresponding headphones. It plays the left channel in BOTH headphones, and I cannot hear the right channel at all. This really makes a big problem when playing games like CS:GO because I can't tell where enemies are coming from because it just sounds the same from any direction.

Solution
Is this problem occuring in general, or just when playing csgo?
make sure that you dont have enabled mono sound anywhere in the realtek manager og in windows inbuild settings.
also, 3.5 jack can have problems with stereo when not plugged in correctly; try pulling it a tiny bit out/in of the socket to see if the sound changes somehow.

The problem occurs in general. When I do the sound test in Speaker Configuration in Stereo, I can only hear the left speaker being played on both the left and right side of my headphones. Also, when I try pulling it out, it does not seem to change my sound at all. I also cannot find the Mono options anywhere, my Ease of Access does not show Audio Options to turn off Mono, and I can't find it in my Realtek settings either. EDIT: It seems to play the left channel more dominantly, and I don't know why.

I used another headset and it plays sounds left and right just fine. It seems to only have a problem when I use the RIG 400 headset. Should I just return my new headset and get a new one that functions well?

Oh wait, nevermind. My blind eyes couldn't see it. I didn't put the main jack (headphones only) to the additional jack (headphones AND microphone), and putting it in correctly fixed the problem. I'm so stupid lmao.
