Headphones problem, please help!

I have had these pares of headphones for a while now, they have always worked the way they are supposed to, the cable broke twice, got it fixed, and still worked like a charm. Recently i bought and installed a new gpu, gtx 660 ti, and after i booted up my computer, started a game, i realised that the sound was coming in from the wrong side, sow what ever should have been heard in the left ear, was played in the right, and vice versa. I have looked around the entire internet for solutions, and everyone says i need to switch the wires, do something with the jacks, blah blah, and no i cant wear my headphones the other way, i wish i could, but sadly cant, they are desined for one way only. So please help me, im very desperate, i know this is a little problem, but is getting on my nerves, is there any software to change this, a reverse stereo option somewhere, please help!

which ports on your pc are you plugging them into?

also, do you have any other headphones that you can test to see if it is your headphones?
