Headphones with a microphone.

I suppose this is the correct forum.

For the purpose of LANs, I require some good quality headphones.

For the purpose of internet gaming, I require a microphone. (Typing is simply too slow.)

I suspect it's best if they come together. (If it's not, please let me know.)

Anyway, practically everyone here will understand why it's important to hear things clearly in games like Quake III Arena and Unreal Tournament 2003 - so good quality sound is essential.

I'm really quite ignorant when it comes to headphones and microphones - I've never purchased either before. So, some advice on what to look for, what prices are reasonable, which brands to consider and so on, would be highly appreciated.

I'm using a really great headset from Koss (KOSS R50B). The sound is terrific, they feel great even after a couple of hours playing and the microphone does the job.
They do cost abot 65$ but after a few hours you definitly think it's worth it.

I have plantronic audio 90's around 20 or 30 bucks i think work great.
