Hey guys, my headset was plugged into my PC and i've stepped in the cable (stupid i know, it was an accident) and the audio jack was violently unplugged, it broke the PC Headphone jack, anyway, but the headset audio jack seems fine, but when i plug into the back of the PC (this one is intact) or my cellphone's audio jack, some audio channels don't work, and the ones who work are distorted, look like a bathroom effect, what's wrong with it?

What headphones are they? It sounds odd that there is a weird sound effect, if they are standard 3.5mm headphones, I would assume that you would lose audio in either one or both sides. I doubt that you could damage the actual drivers by pulling on the cord. Is there cable going into the headset now longer than it was before (right where they enter the headset, does the cable look different?

If the headset looks good and you have a solder gun or know someone that does you can get a repair kit. Never done one but does not look like an easy task for a newbie.
