Headset and controllers disconnecting and reconnecting causing game to stutter.

When playing games on my computer it will disconnect my wireless headphones and Xbox controller (Wired and wireless) with the game stuttering for .5 to 1 second. My game will resume and my audio will continue in my headset where it left off but my controller will take about 1 minute to reconnect. I have had this issue for a year and a half but i feel that i cant possibly think of anything else to try. Driver are up to date, power options in usb and bluetooth have been tried. I have taken benchmark programs with outstanding results with no stutters. I thought the problem could be in the wireless part but the fact my wired controller will also disconnect is baffling. Any idea of other options?

I think it's a power issue, try switching the plug
