If you want a HyperX headset, the Revolver is the way to go as far as quality (both sound and construction) and comfort (uses a suspended headband, far better than the clouds). It's also one of the few semi-open back headsets for an improved sound stage. I got one for my son to use at college, he is quite happy with them.
That being said, I am using a pair of Samson SR850s with the Zalman Zm-mic1 IMO just as good if not better (I feel the headphone sound is a bit better, with the mic being almost as good) at half the price. I did have to play around with my windows recording devices settings for level and boost to get it quite right. Since you have a Blue Snowball that may solve your problem with it, try enabling the noise cancellation filter and adjust the threshold setting until you get it just the way you like it. I also think it has a Unidirectional Cardioid setting, so try that too (may do the trick).
