Headset issue (help quick please)

So my new headset just arrived Its a corsair rapter hs40 usb and for some reason whenever i hear a noise it makes a wierd noise like when you have lost single to a radio, this noise stops after 10 seconds but is a huge annoyance. I have tried the headset on my laptop and it works fine there. I also have latest drivers etc so it can't be that.

It also only starts when a sound is played

First off, try plugging the headset into a different USB port, (does the headset connect to the computer by USB or pink and green cables?) I'm tired and can't be asked to research it 😀

Usb and also tried changing ports so idk thx anyway

Alright, well it may be a USB issue, interference and everything.. I know this may sound weird but get a cloth and rub the USB (metal plate) on the headset and then plug the USB back into the computer.

See if this fixes your issue.
