So I bought Astro A10 a few days back.
http://www.astrogaming.com/a10-gaming-headset/
I connected the green to green and pink to pink. It came with a splitter. The problem I'm having is that my mic is detected but it doesn't pick up voice. I've tried many things:
-re-pluging it 100x times (obviously)
-restarting the PC
-disabling realtek and rebooting
-the "Peter talks to his computer..." thing is really starting to annoy me as well...:fou:
-astro's software doesn't even recognize my device (guess it doesn't support it since it's "nothing special")
-trying different ports (black, blue, orange, etc.)

The mic was working on my phone so it's not broken or anything...
What I'm gonna try is testing the headset on a different computer, testing a different splitter. I'm also thinking about buying that adapter from 35mm to USB...

If anyone knows what might me the problem, please let me know. Would make me very happy or at least less triggered (salty) 😀

Tried that as well, still doesn't work. I think it might be a problem with the splitter... :/
