Headset mic not showing on recording devices

I recently bought a Elite Gaming Headset for the xbox 360 from DreamGear. It says I can use it with a PC and it works! The problem is only the headphones work. The mic isnt being detected in recording devices (I have a windows 8 laptop) and I check show disabled devices and show disconnected devices. No drivers were included. Please help

go to the manufacturers website and download the drivers from there... majority of hardware these days do not come with any installation media, as they can easily be downloaded and reduce the cost associated with creating the installation media for the manufacturer.

They don't have drivers that come with them, It's a plugin and play headset
