Hey guys,
I am using a gaming laptop (ASUS G14 (2021)) that is connected to a ASUS VG248QG monitor. I have them connected with a HDMI cable and everything runs smoothly. I have my headphones (Astro A40 TR) connected into the back of the monitor (separate headphone and audio jacks) and I can hear audio. The problem is that the microphone is not being picked up. In my sound options it recognizes the monitor as a playback device, but it does not show up for a recording device. It only identifies the mic built into the G14 (called "Microphone Array"). Is there something wrong/broken with my setup or am I not seeing an obvious fix.
Thanks in advance.
