Question Headset microphone stops working.

I recently bought a pair of Astro 3rd gen A50s (xbox version) to replace the PS4 version I was using on my PC.

I have started noticing momentary freezing where I can't move my mouse then my mic stops working on discord. I can disconnect then reconnect (not change channels) to sort the issue but it seems to happen fairly often.

I sometimes use a blue yeti w/ earbuds and haven't noticed the issue with it. I didn't have this issue with the PS4 A50s I was using prior either.

Also I do not notice anything in the event viewer that could explain the momentary freezing. I have been back and forth with the people from Astro and Discord support but have yet to sort out the issue.

If you're dealing with this headset, have you tried working with the app that Astro says you should download? Mind sharing the specs to your system? Latest BIOS on your platform as well as the latest drivers for your chipset and USB ports?

That is the brand I am using but I am using the previous gen (3rd), my local store didn't have 4th gen in stock at the time of purchase. I have the astro software installed but this doesn't seem to help/explain the issue.
