HEADSET NOT DETECTED after new GTX 1060 install

Installed my new GTX 1060, when i opened graphic intensive games my screen would go black. Come to find out my video card wasn't all the way in the PCI slot on my mobo, so now it is securely seated. Video works beautifully but my headset is not being detected even though it is plugged in. Headset was working fine when the card wasn't properly seated. No clue what this could be.

Reinstall your drivers using ddu program. : http://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html Download the latest drivers from nvidia website after uninstalling the current drivers with the thing and mark to install the nvidia sound drivers. It should work. Also check if you have your headphones plugged all the way in.
