Headset not working properly

Hello. I apologize if this is is the wrong place but I am desperate to fix this issue. I downloaded Windows 8.1 and ever since my PDP Afterglow wireless headset hasn't been working properly. If you had every seen one you would know on the left ear cup there are two volume control sliders. One for volume in general and one for volume separation of voice chat and normal volume. My computer reversed the direction you scroll the separation slider and my computer doesn't separate voice chat from regular. I'm sorry if this sounds confusing but it is the best way I can explain it. If anyone can help me with this problem it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You had Windows 8 and this happened with 8.1? Seems to me a similar problem to what happened to me and my Corsair. Your only hope is wait for 8.1 drivers. They made 8.1 "more secure" and in the process, many drivers stopped working properly.

Is there any way to go back to Windows 8? This really frustrates me.
