Alright, 2 quick questions here. What would be a good headset that's sub $30, if there are any for that price? Would mainly be used for listening to music and games, and would need to have a mic, though that is a secondary and not entirely necessary item, though would be nice.

And second question;
I have the following headset currently:

Micro Innovations Voicemaster.
http://www.amazon.com/Micro-Innovations-MM755H-Multimedia-Voicemaster/dp/B000GE8REQ/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1262394298&sr=8-10

The sound is starting to glitch out on me depending on where I move my head so that one side of the headset works while the other doesn't, and I have isolated the problem to between the volume control and the actual headset. Should I just go ahead and try to fix it myself, or go ahead and get a new headset? It's not much of a problem, it's just a little annoying, and I tend to have this problem with almost all of the headphones I have at some point or another. Any tips for preventing this from happening?

As for your second question, the headsets are so cheap today, that trying to fix them is worthless, there are people in this forum that will even recommend you to replace a monitor if it is malfunctioning, instead of fixing it.

Headsets are usually fragile and the reason they are like this, is because you can't put a lot of weight on you head (what will cause a neck damage in the long term), so they have to be light weight, and in result fragile. You can try treating them more carefully but neither than this will assure you a long life for the headset.

About the headset that you published, under the price of around 60$ there isn't much of a difference between the headsets, therefore there isn't a special recommendation for a specific headset.

Post here any other questions that you might have, and I'll be glad to help you.

I didn't understand the question completely, and I wouldn't like to give you an answer that won't completely answer your question.

If you can please explain your question again.

Thank you.

Alright. What I meant was that in the price range of $20-$30, Most headsets are about the same right? Which would mean that it wouldn't matter very much which one I got, as there would be very little difference in sound quality/durability?
