Headset setup trouble

I have a Logitech G430 headset (awesome by the way) and every time I plug it in it doesn't become the default audio output device. Is there any way to change this? I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.

Never unplug the thing... 😛
Try setting your onboard audio (or whatever sound card you use) as your default while its unplugged, hopefully then it will stick as your onboard audio isn't going anywhere.

Are you connecting to the front or rear panel audio connectors?
