Headset upgrade required

I am looking at buying either plantronics 800LX or Astro A50.

Any recommendations?

Is this for console gaming? or pc gaming, also if it's for pc would you require a microphone, if not you can get a good pair of box-standard headphones instead of a headset.

I plan to use it for both pc and Xbox 1. Just prefer one headset and complete wireless.

Okay i'd recommend any razer headset like a kraken v2, that tiamat or what ever it's called, astro a50's are superb but can be expensive. if you have the money might aswell go for an astro a50's
