Headset?

Hey guys. I am planning on buying a headset. Any ideas on which one is a great one to buy? I got about $30 max to spend and want one for gaming. Thanks!

I like Koss brands, made in America. I prefer closed type headphones, but there cheapest version is around 40.00 with shipping. They make cheaper open style headphones that are good.

I dont like open style headphones.

I have some old Koss Pros' that are 30 years old and still are great. I bought some used( I bought them 25 years ago) Sennheiser headphones, that cost me like over 100.00 used, very nice but not worth the price.

Maybe you can find some closed style Koss headphones ebay for less then 30.00.

Yeah Koss is great but I think he said Headset not Headphones. I've had several buddies who have used the Headsets and they stink. You will have a hard time getting it the right distance from your mouth, to be heard without being too loud. I recommend going with something like the other guy said: Closed Air headphones and a good Mic. Preferably a digital mic, they just sound better. And any decent Mic will pic up your voice just fine. Mine sits on top of my monitor about 3 feet away and no one ever has a problem hearing me and I speak at normal volume. Oh for Mic brands...Labtech all the way.
