Hi everyone, I am currently trying to determine what a healthy CPU temp would be for a E8400 @3gig (stock speed). I am currently running a thermaltake cpu fan and it idle's at around 50 degrees and around the 60's when running games. I am unsure what a healthy temp would be as I'm curious to know what other people temps would be and if mine is normal. Saying this my computer is very stable and doesn't freeze or shut down at all. Thanks Guys

inside my case i have 2 small fans at the back, a big thermal take cooler for the cpu (looks like a big grill on top with a large fan on the side), a fan underneath my power supply (coolmaster psu 650watt), 2 fans on my gtx460 and a big fan on the side of my case. As for airflow i sit in on the floor but away from the wall. Im not sure which program would be more accurate for reading temps but im currently using speedfan and realtemp. In speedfan right at the moment it says that my cpu temp is 46 while on the net. Im running 2 screens so im not sure if this effects it at all. the 2 things which show more heat is the 2 cores temp not the cpu actually. however it shows that my gpu is running at 53. not sure if all this info helps. My case is a older xion gaming case. not sure if all this stuff helps much

this case is the same as mine but different colour http://www.lmc.com.au/obs/website/prodinfo.php?prodid=554059

Gday mate! i've checked out your case and the cooling is far from ideal for your climate.
Anyways, short of buying a new case, you need to add two 80mm intake fans upfront.
I would remove the two rear exhaust ones put them upfront as intakes.
Buy a 120mm and use it as an exhaust.

That would help quite a bit imo.
Don't know the particulars about your cpu cooler but an update could help.

Don't quite know if i read the case descript right but you get the idea.
Ideally you want as much intake upfront that your case will accept and a 120mm to exhaust.
A side fan does very little btw if you don''t have front intakes.
