Hear nothing from the center speaker

I recently bought an altec lansing 251 versatile (5.1) speaker set.So i set up my speaker but i cant hear nothing from the center speaker when i play mp3.Is there something wrong?

i think winamp only plays through the 4 channels.

my computer is so fast, it completes an endless loop in less than 4 seconds!
