No I have not enabled listen to this device

I have quite a strange issue with my pc, or maybe my headphones. Whenever I connect my headphones to the aux cables at the back of the computer, I can hear myself a little bit. If I bring the microphone close to my mouth, I can hear myself quite clearly. Though, this does not happen with the aux port in the front.

Backstory - The day before yesterday, the electricity got cut while the pc was on, I did not turn it back on till today. When I turned it on, I noticed that the keyboard and mouse weren't working. I did a hard reboot and the pc was stuck in a strange bootloop where it would start for just a second and then then off just to repeat it and keep on doing it again. I assumed that something was wrong with my ram, thus I took it out, cleaned it and rebooted my computer. And it booted back on with the keyboard and mouse working. But as I closed the cabinet and connected the cabinet fan, the keyboard and mouse stopped working again, but this time they were lit up, ie, they were powered. I hard rebooted again and everything worked properly.

Soon, as I launched Voice Meeter, I saw that all the settings were reset and I had to set it up again, and that I did. Eventually I realized that I can hear myself just so faintly, I spoke loudly into the microphone and I could hear myself clearly.

I tried going through settings, tinkering with my audio manager but nothing seemed to help. Now when I tried plugging the headphones in another aux port, I stopped hearing myself.

I will be very thankful if anyone could help me out.
