So I just bought a new chassis cause I wanted to cool down a little my CPU (OC i7-5930K 4.3GHz, cache core 3.3GHz, 1.8V) and GPU (OC 980TI G1, 1506MHZ core, 4017MHz memory). Note: Their highest was around the 80 Celsius. Now after swapping everything and booting, just on IDLE my CPU stands on 50 Celsius! And on gaming my GPU hit the 91 Celsius and even crashing.
My old chassis was Antec-300 and I swapped into Antec-DA601. My CPU cooler is Gammaxx-400 and my GPU cooler is the Accelero Xtreme III. EVERY SINGLE COMPONENT IN MY PC IS NOW HOTTER😢
I also tried to apply new thermal paste and to down clock both CPU and GPU.

Another little issue (..maybe related somehow), is my front fan that came with the chassis. The problem is that, even on 40 Celsius it jumps all the way up to 2100RPM and goes back down to 911RPM randomly without syncing with the Celsius at all.

I’m devastated, what happened here? I missed something?! Thanks for all the helpers!!

Solution
Antec-300: one at the back and one at the top.
With just 2 fans, that orientation was actually working in your favor - I'm assuming both fans were exhaust here.

Antec-DA601: one in the middle front and one at the back.
With just 2 fans again, this orientation isn't as effective.

Now, looking over the design of both cases...
300:
-adequate cooling, even if it's a bit old
-doesn't have as many options for cooling - for example, if you wanted to install larger radiators

DA601:
-more cooling options is always nice
-the front intake on this thing is choked. There's the front... 'flaps', or whatever you want to call them, and the fan(s) is also sandwiched between 2 mesh panels - why the hell did they do that?
That was...
How many case fans (where and in what airflow direction) did you have in the old case?

Same question for the new case.

Antec-300: one at the back and one at the top.
Antec-DA601: one in the middle front and one at the back.
Basically the stock fans I got with the cases, but I am planning to fill my new case with more fans, maybe it will solve my problem.

That was pretty stupid, design wise. The gpu temps are going to be worse in this case by default.
-power supply shroud. Looks nice, but it affects gpu temps too.

If I were to take both cases and do an optimal fan setup of sorts...
300:
Front intake: 2x 120mm
Rear exhaust: 1x 120mm
Top exhaust: 1x 140mm
Side intake: Some people will tell you not to do side intake at all... Me - it depends on the fan's position to the gpu. If the fan is below the gpu, then I'd use it.

DA601:
Rear exhaust: 1x 120mm
Top exhaust: 2x 120mm
Front, I wouldn't bother with any fans... but if you have to, because of the Prism fan, then just leave it in the middle.

Solution
Agreed, before you had 2 fans worth of air flowing through your case since they were both pointing the same direction (exhaust).

Now 1 fan intake and 1 fan exhaust means you've got 1 fan worth of air flowing through your case.

Put another intake fan in the front of your new case.
