Heat problem after 6-7 years.

No, that's not normal. However, if you're looking to extend the life of your computer, I would limit CPU performance in Windows.
Download RealTemp. Aim to keep the CPU under 60C while running at 100%. To do this:
1. Open RealTemp
2. Go into Windows Power Options -> Advanced Settings -> CPU Performance -> Maximum Processor Speed. I'd start at 50%. then just use your computer like normal with the app open and watch the temperature. Or you can stress test.

Also, I would replace the Heatsink if possible.

I did this same thing on a 10 year old laptop and it's still going strong. CPU was running at 80C+ at all times. It now Maxes out at 60C at 33%. I would replace the thermal paste, but I only use it for email/office use when out and about so it meets my needs.
