heating and low performance issues

sir i have a notebook
processor-intel i5 4200u
graphics-nvidia gt 740m
ram-4 gb
when i play gta 4 the notebook becomes damn hot and (hope you have played gta 4 on pc) when irun benchmark the stats are staggering video memery usage comes to be b/w 1000 to 2000 percent and when i go to graphic settings the resource usage comes out to 281/27 even if i play at lowest settings sir please provide me with the solution i am very eager to play this game

GTA4 is a notorious hardware hog when it comes to PC games.

Laptops are notorious for overheating. The quickest solution for laptop heating (other than suspending the vents on the underside of the laptop above the surface the laptop is sat on by placing two hardcover books at the very edge of the laptop's base) is to purchase a laptop cooling pad which is a rectangular object containing fans that is roughly the same dimensions as the form of the laptop's base.

I can't account for that massive memory usage, however. Are you sure the memory usage isn't reporting in Gigabytes rather than percentage?
