Hi Guys. Nice to meet you all i have been reading these forums for along time now i finally registered, but i have a important question to ask.
i need to get a heatsink+fan or maybe just use this fan i have its real thin type fan thermatake it seems to run round 3500 to 4500 but here is the thing
i have a amd 64 Fx 60 Dual Core prossor 4 gigs of ram im on a 939 socket and my mother board its a asus A8N32-Sli Deluxe Silverstone full size tower quite a few fans 2 80mm side fans intake, 120mm rear, 120mm and one left side fan 80mm
also 4 gigs Dual Channel Patriot ram Geforce 8800 GTX Sli but right now i am only using one car, the Main thing is i have a really big heating issue and lately i only have enough to really buy the new R600 Ati cards, anyway its a decent setup its just the heat is unreal.
as i said i have enough to get the new ati cards and vista an a few other things but what i am wanting to know is, what would be the Best heatsink fan combo or just the heatsink for a 939 socket i know i need to dust it out too and add some thermal grease, i am going to order that with this i just need the absolute best without moving to liquid cooling.
So this is the question if anyone has the same issue as me, or had, right now i have hardly any progs running and its going on to 50 its a 48 pretty much idle but i play quake 4 and diffrent fps it never reaches the breaking point of 65C% i just don't want to damage my chip
but thanks for any information you can give me oh The best heatsink to take this temp down, btw i love these forums & the website everything
if your wondering why i have not blown it out yet i was waiting to put the new parts inside of it first kind of a pain undoing all the wires that i have hidden an tied off lol
