Heatsink exhaust going into PSU exhaust.

So the only way I can mount my new heatsink is horizontally. But this makes it so the exhaust goes up into the PSU. I know you probably shouldn't have too much heat going in there than necessary so I was wondering the thoughts.

I could turn the fan around so it faces down toward the bottom, but that's kinda working against itself.

well blowing down onto you video card is not an option that is worse so if you can only mount it that way it will have to blow int to power supply. You might want to RMA it if you can and get one that will blow out the back. I am guessing this is going on an AMD phenom. Some heatsinks arent really meant for AMDs socket and the adapters they give make it sit in wrong direction.

the power supply also has a fan acting as an exhaust if that makes any difference. lol. I might be able to fit it in the right way. It's for a q6600, but the powersupply is on top so that is the only thing that makes me question the amount of space i'll have. it's a p5n-d mobo.
