hello. i plan on upgradingh from the fx 6100 to the fx 8350. right now i have the coolermaster hyper 212+ and i was wondering if it would keep the 8350 cooled?

Yes, as long as you don't plan to go too far in terms of overclocking, the Hyper 212+ will be good enough to cool the FX8350. I wouldn't say you'd need anything more than that.

I have the AMD FX branded watercooler on my 8350 and it cools it great. Might want to that route too.

Understandable. Watercooling would be complete overkill, so as it won't cost anything just stick with your current 212+.

If your not overclocking a ton the 212 PLUS is a fine budget cooler for the FX8350.

If you aren't overclocking use the stock cooler. It doesn't look as cool but it was made for the job.
