Anyone have issues installing their heatsink for their SSD? I have a Samsung 970 Evo Plus 1TB and the header/standoff just keeps popping out of it's designated hole. I screwed it in the first time with great effort and now it just keeps popping back out. Are there longer screws I can order so theres less tension?

which motherboard are you using?

do you mean the standoff screwed into the case ?

Are you using the screw delivered by the motherboard or the eventually by the SSD?

Be sure the screw can be tightened without the SSD and try again if it does. If not you might have the wrong screw

Theres a hole with a standoff on the mobo, not the case itself. I'm not sure if the screw came with the ssd or mobo, unfortunately.

try the standoff of the other M.2 port, don´t fasten it to tight, just gently

the heatsink stand off might be different to the M.2 standoff.
to be sure you did it right:
1. unscrew the heat sink and remove it
2. install the standoff of the M.2 (not the heat sink standoff) to the correct length your SSD has
3. install the ssd into the M.2 port
4. screw it to the M.2 standoff
5. install the heat sink
6. screw the heat sink to its standoff

Are there any other spare screws or standoffs delivered by the motherboard?
