Heatsink smaller than CPU

I got a thermatake spinq cooler for my fx-8350. The heatsink on the cooler is the exact same size as the CPU.
Will it run fine and overclock fine? I read 98% of heat is from center, and it covers the whole cpu ( JUST barely).

I just want a 2nd opinion.

Heatsinks are made to cover just barely the CPU. Every heatsink is like that. Don't worry.
