My build is: GPU:Gtx 1080 g1 gaming
CPU:Ryzen 1700
MOBO: x370 fatal1ty gaming x
RAM: vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) 3200MHz (altough its working on 2133 and cant do anything about it even with latest bios)
PSU: Bitfenix 750W gold full modular
MONITOR: Acer h257hu 1440p

Heaven settings: API: Directx11
Quality: Ultra
Tessellation: Extreme
Anti-alasing: x8
Full screen 1440p
(The others are disabled)

Results i am getting in heaven 65 fps
With lowest frame drop: 29fps
and higest frame peek: 141
58C
Is that normal? ( i am getting mostly worried for that 1 sec frame drop that i have also seen in my games)

Thanks in advance for your answers

if you haven't already, update to the latest bios.

Not sure why your ram isn't working at full speed. You may need to set XMP profile or manually set the timings and voltage. Providing the DIMMS are on the QVL you should be able to get them to run at full speed. This will definitely help performance and FPS in gaming.

Your GPU is a great card. But maybe just keep things in check a little. You're running Heaven at it's highest settings. The results seem to be (from doing a quick search of similar spec PC's)pretty normal. I wouldn't worry to much.

Overclocking your CPU would be a really good idea too. It's a great CPU, but for the most part it's clockspeed is relatively low for modern standards, and most games get more FPS with higher single core/multi-core speed.. The good news is, with your CPU/Mobo you could get a really easily attainable OC of about 3.8/3.9 ghz, which will again increase FPS in gaming.

There are a couple of things you can do to get a good 20% boost. But i would say, that Heaven is a benchmark. Play some games, note the FPS at it's highest settings (Ultra etc) and report back, we can then see how it is in real-world gaming as opposed to a taxing bench.

You could run something like HWmon/HWinfo in the backround and monitor whats going on hardware wise. Whilst playing a demanding game, alt tab out of the game with HWmon running, and take a screenshot of the app. We can look at temps, voltages, CPU speed, GPU usage etc etc. It's a good way to gauge whats happening in the backround.

I have downloaded the latest bios for my mobo version 4.5 , but i think the XMP profile is not working properly cause when i switch to xmp 2133mhz like its working on default it turns off..

Exact model or ram : vengeance 16GB (CMU16GX4M2C3200C16R)
