I'm seeing a difference in numbers between what MSI afterburner says my card is running at and what the Heaven benchmark says. Mainly a difference in core clocks. Somehow I got my Zotac GTX 1080 Amp edition up to a core clock of 2080Mhz and wanted to run heaven for stability tests(it's very stable) and to see my score. When in benchmarking mode it says my core clock is actually 2180Mhz. Which one is more accurate and why would there be a difference? Which one should I trust? I do know I'm nearing the max OC for this card as I tried to go up another 20MHz and it crashed hard lol. The memory seems to read the same save for 1 MHz difference between Heaven and Afterburner. Anyone know what's going on here?

Yeah I was definitely more trusting of MSI Afterburner. I just thought it was incredibly strange to have a 100Mhz difference in readings. I do like my score now though At 1440p Ultra settings with normal tessellation and 8x antialiasing I'm breaking 1800 on the benchmark. I was in the high 1600's before my OC. I need to go online and compare that score though. Without perspective it's just a number.
