Heh! 6th time through....just noticed something!

Well....I just started DOOM 3 for the 6th time last night (in Veteran
mode...it's my fav) and noticed something for the first time! I started
working my way down toward the old Comm Facility to fetch that errant
scientist and on the way I stopped to have a chat with that guy who
operates that big crane. I looked across the chasm and noticed there's a
platform with a door into a storage area! The only way to get to it is
to walk across that wire like a Flying fuggin' Welanda.
I'd never EVEN noticed that little area over there! Ya can't get into it
though until the s*#t comes down and you can get into the Security
Control Room and unlock the door. There's even some Plasma ammo in there
and a Health Station.
I'm looking forward to spending some quality time with Alpha Lab Edwards
again and wondering if I'll find anything else I might've missed.

I noticed that room across the chasm, but could never figure out how to
get to it (still don't know). I used the noclip cheat and flew over to
that place one day just for gags, but never could figure out how to get
into that room without the cheats. Now that I've finished the game, I
think I'll go back through and see if I can't get to it the normal way..

You just need to "walk the line". Turn left at the bottom of the Underground
Junction before going into Maintenance Area CS1. You'll see a Large Health
and to the left a rope extending across the gap. Go there at the end of the
level after unlocking "Storage" in the "Mars City Sublevel Access" menu at
the Security Menu in Underground Security. Check out
