I kept getting complaints that my audio was not loud enough and today I tried tweaking some settings in the Sounds control panel for windows. After that I tried recording my own voice and this was what was recorded.
Please help me fix this issue as i have exhausted all my options.

Please kindly help.

Update your post to include full system (laptop) specs and OS information.

So there was no problem before the attempted tweaks - correct?

No hardware changes or port changes - correct?

What audio device (microphone, headphones, speakers, etc.) are you using? How physically connected?

Any adapters being used?

My suggestion is to reinstall the audio drivers. Hopefully any errant tweaks will be reset and audio will be back to normal.
